Who are we?

A deadlock is already reached by the question itself. What defines a person? What is there to the name, place birth, degree, etc.? What defines a creative person? What is there to be said to arouse interest and command respect? What has to be mentioned to satisfy an inquisitive mind and a creative soul?

Questions, questions... So, let us bring some answers made of clichés and yet with a little hope for originality.

The idea of Raduga Workshops (raduga means rainbow in Russian) is to bring more creativity and inspiration to an everyday life (by means of providing interesting and yet affordable workshops and seminars) as well as organizing unusual vacations for those who prefer active rest to lying on chaise longue and like meeting enthusiastic people in inspiring places.

Although the rainbow consists of seven colours only we do not want to stick to a set amount of topics, as there are thousands of tints to every colour. We hope to be able to provide our students with an opportunity to invest into their spiritual life together with mastering their writing, painting, photography, etc. skills.

Why English speaking workshops in the Netherlands? Being expats ourselves we have realised how few good quality workshops are available for an English speaking community in such a cosmopolitan place as Holland. However, we do not want to focus on expats only. So, anyone sharing the knowledge of this vital language is more than welcome.

And finally, for those who need the name, place of birth, degree, etc. here we go:

We are currently a team of two linking thousands:

Anastasia Volkhovskaya was born in Ukraine and has a degree in applied linguistics, worked as a teacher and translator, currently writing poetry and prose in both Russian and English.

Fernanda Martins was born in Brazil and has a degree in journalism and experience in teaching, translating and organizing mini seminars. She writes short stories and is currently working on a novel, both in English and Portuguese.

Raduga Workshops were born from the clash of these two temperatures: cold and warm, bringing rain and sun together to create a colourful rainbow. As there is always a pot of gold at the end of rainbow we strive to bring quality and value to our workshops.
